Museum Bar
181 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd SW
Atlanta, GA 30312
It may be cold tonight in the "A" but it won't be at The Museum Bar, one of Atlanta's hottest new venues. The Museum Bar is located in the former St. Stephen's Missionary Baptist Church built in 1890.
Reasons why you should join us tomorrow night:
1. Free Admission to Archives Lounge: The owners are allowing us to experience the Archives Lounge (at no-charge). This 4,000 sq ft lounge has 4 Gallery VIP areas and is for special events only. Many celebrities like Malcom Jamal Warner, Chrisette Michele, & Cee Lo have hosted parties here.
2. Scrumptious Fare: Museum has a full-service restaurant ...on its main level. The restaurant's chef is J Scott, one of the south's youngest executive chefs. Taste the: shrimp & grits, garlic calamari, wings & waffles, chili glazed salmon, or smoked BBQ beef ribs & collards.
3. Special Live Performance: We are receiving a special live performance from one of Atlanta's newest sensations. He has been liken to Marvin Gaye & Donnie Hathaway and has opened for many national acts. Tomorrow night he will be performing his debut single for us.
4. New Connections & Reconnections: This event is open to our alumni, family, and friends. Our alumni network has increased most recently with new transplants who will be in attendance. Come out and show them some love. Meet and greet the owners of the this black-owned and operated establishment and hear about their new locations in Memphis and Las Vegas! Also reconnect with your UVA family in the "A".
